Backblog: Corin, Month by Month

You may remember me doing a blog post for Miss Avonlea every month throughout her first year.  Although I may not have the ambition to be quite so detailed for Corin's babyhood, we definitely take a lot of pictures of our sweet little dude. Here's his month-by-month so far.

Newborn:

1 month old:

2 months old:

3 months old:

4 months old:

5 months old:

6 months old:

I had to seriously cull down the number of pictures I wanted to use--WAY too many for a single post. If this isn't evidence enough, trust me, this kid is cute.

And what is he like? Very chill. Easy-going. Sweet. Affectionate. Sensitive. Athletic. Bouncy. Bashy. Focused. Happy. Ticklish. Enthralled with Avonlea and the kitties.

These days he has 2 bottom teeth with seemingly two on the way above. He eats three solid meals a day and he quietly protests anything that isn't sweet. He loves applesauce, carrots, bananas, sweet potatoes, squash, and pumpkin. He can roll or spin his way around a room, but no actual crawling yet. He channels his inner Bam-Bam, zeroing in on any object in his grasp and very seriously bashing it hard against the ground when he finally gets ahold of it--he seems convinced that he's engaged in some very important work.

He's a good sleeper--2 or 3 naps a day and 10-12 hours at night. His favorite things are hopping like a bunny in his Jonny-Jump-Up, petting the kitty, and grabbing people's faces--smiling and pinching like a Jewish grandma. He went through an unfortunate bald stage at about 2-months-old and his hair has come back in light and soft. He has big baby blue eyes like daddy, and daddy's sweet, relaxed temperament.

We love him. I think we'll keep him.
